custom fabricated sign and window vinyl

The objective was to identify the foundation’s new location and represent Ralph Wilson’s legacy. Etched vinyl lettering is applied to the glass entrance located on Grand Boulevard. A blade-style was selected for the wall sign because it projects out from the building, allowing it to also be seen from Woodward Avenue.

The serif typeface conveys sense of tradition. The vertical type along the side is reminiscent of a book spine — implying documentation and historical significance. The metal sign frame, with duranodic bronze finish, integrates with the newly installed windows.
